The International
Conference "The particular features of the regulative policy
in the ICT sphere in Ukraine"
On the way to integration of Ukraine into the European and World
community it's necessary to carry out a structural reform in governing
(management). A range of advices given by international institutions,
including WTO, concerns exactly this matter.
In particular, the telecommunication sector needs the structural
reforms, the essence of which is implementation of regulative mechanisms,
grading of administration's impact on the ICT market, prevention
of using "manual governing" of the branch. The president
of Ukraine mentioned this more than once.
The main method of solution of the problems is creating and functioning
of the independent regulative authority in the ICT sphere in Ukraine.
The present day reality calls for active participation of all ICT
market participants, funds and scientific-research organizations,
government bodies in discussion of the problem of implementation
of the regulative mechanism into the branch, the necessity of creating
of the independent regulative body.
The Institute Of the Information Society, Telenor Mobile Communication
and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Supported by the World Bank
are going to held the International Conference on the problem of
the implementation of regulative policy in the telecommunication
branch - "The particular features of the regulative policy
in the ICT sphere in Ukraine".
